What if it doesn't fit me?- Returning an Item

Motherly Instincts offers an exchange or refund within 7 days of purchase (10 days for online orders to account for postage). The item must be in original condition with tags attached. There are no returns or exchanges on SALE items. If you purchased online, you can either exchange/ refund in store, or post back (all postage costs will be at the customers expense). Please contact us to let us know you intend to return your item via postage and we will provide you with the return address. Please note pre orders and certain items may have different refund terms. If this is the case, it will be noted in the item description. 

Sold out items

If there is a problem with your order we will contact you ASAP. If you love one of your items please email or call us ASAP and we will attempt to order another. Remember our range is constantly changing and being updated to keep up with the latest trends in fashion.

Our Postage and Handling Charges (non-refundable) are:

  • All orders are sent via tracked post. If you would like your items to come via express post please let us know and we will advise you of the additional cost.
  • There is a flat postage rate of $9.50 on all orders within Australia. If you would like your order posted overseas, please contact us and we will let you know the cost. 
  • Click and Collect available for free from our store in Fyshwick ACT (during our business hours only).

How long will it take to receive my item?

Postage usually takes between 3-7 days dependent on where you live in Australia. If you would like your parcel to be express posted please let us know prior to placing your order and we will advise you of the additional cost. PLEASE NOTE THAT ORDERS RECEIVED AFTER 4pm SATURDAY WON'T BE POSTED UNTIL THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY (If you do require your item urgently, please contact us and we may be able to post on a Monday or Tuesday). 

How long will it take to exchange my item?

We will exchange your order as soon as it is returned dependent upon availability. We will advise you ASAP if there are any problems or if there will be a delay in fulfilling your order.

How do I pay if I do not have a Credit Card?

We are happy to accept Cheque (dependent upon it clearing, which takes between 5-7 working days) or Money Order. Cheques and Money Orders should be made payable to Motherly Instincts. Otherwise, you can pay via direct deposit into our bank account, PayPal or Zip Pay.

Do we sell Directly to the Public?

Yes. Motherly Instincts is located at 3/52 Wollongong Street, Fyshwick ACT

We are open:

Monday and Tuesday 10am until 4pm, Wednesday 10am until 2pm, Thursday 10am until 6pm, Friday 10am until 5pm and Saturday 10am until 4pm. These hours may vary over holiday periods (eg. Christmas, school holidays and public holidays). Please follow us on Facebook or Instagram to be kept up to date with any changes.
